Turnersville Community Center is the perfect setting for weddings, family reunions, corporate gatherings, non-profit events, banquets, and special celebrations. Located in Turnersville, Texas—approximately 40 miles west of Waco and 12 miles northeast of Gatesville—our venue combines rustic charm with modern conveniences, set in the heart of rural Central Texas.

You can also submit a rental application online or download the Rental Agreement below for convenience. Please note, completing the agreement does not guarantee a reservation; all bookings must be confirmed through direct contact with our office.

Rental Rates & Packages

  • Sunday–Thursday: $100/hour (2-hour minimum) or $500/day
     
  • Friday & Saturday: $100/hour (5-hour minimum) or $750/day
     
  • Weekend Packages:
     
    • Weekend 1: Two consecutive days, full-day rental $1,000 (*Local Discount $800)
       
    • Weekend 2: Friday–Sunday, full-day rental $1,500 (*Local Discount $1,200)
      *Local discount applies to residents within 10 miles of the Community Center.
       

Security Deposit
A $300 security deposit is required to secure your date. Deposit is non-refundable if the rental is canceled within 30 days of the scheduled event.

Turnersville Community Center is a versatile event space that can be used for various types of events, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties.


The capacity of Turnersville Community Center varies depending on the type of event and the setup. However, it can comfortably accommodate 160-170 guests.


  • Tables & Chairs: 170 chairs, 14 six-foot round tables, 15 six-foot rectangle tables
  • Stocked Kitchen: Fully equipped for catering and meal preparation
  • Optional Tabernacle: Available for weddings through the Cemetery Association
  • Parking: On-site ample parking
  • Outdoor Space: Scenic surroundings for photos and gatherings


We accept check, cash, or cashier's check.


If alcohol is to be possessed or consumed, the CLIENT must confirm that security has been hired PRIOR to the event. The Community Center requires a minimum of one security guard/personnel during the time of said event. Security guard/personnel must be a Licensed Texas Peace Officer. CLIENT shall contract directly with the Coryell County Sheriff’s Department. Contact the Coryell County Sheriff’s Department at 254-865-7201 (ask for Lt. Summers) to arrange security.


Nails, screws, or staples may NOT be used in walls to hold decorations; however, use of Tacky Tape is permitted on painted surfaces.


Events may not last beyond 1:00 AM without prior approval from the Community Center Staff. This 1:00 AM deadline includes clean-up time. The CLIENT will be charged $100.00 per hour if the Event and/or cleaning time exceeds 1:00 AM; or it exceeds a delegated clean-up times previously approved by Community Center Staff. Client is responsible for making sure guests leave the building at an appropriate time in order for Client to finish cleaning before 1:00AM or delegated time. Arrangements must be made by the Client to have all rental equipment picked up and removed from the facility on the Event date, unless there is prior approval by Community Center Staff. The Community Center is not responsible for any damage or theft of any items left by the Client or any guest attending the Client’s event.


  

Deposit/Rental Refunds and Long Term Cancellation

Cancellations prior to 30 days from the date of the event shall be refunded 100%. Cancellations must be received in writing.


Short Term Cancellation

Cancellations within 30 days of the event will be refunded one half (50%) of the rental fee and full amount of security deposit.


If the Rental Fee has not been received within 30 days of the event, the Rental Deposit will be non-refundable.


  • Reservations are made on a first paid, first served basis.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to rent the Facility.
  • Rent and deposit will be payable by check, money order, cashier’s check, or cash.
  • Reservations are not confirmed until deposit is paid in full.
  • No open flames are permitted on the property; you may use flameless candles only.
  • Rentals must be paid in full no less than thirty (30) days prior to the event.
  • The Turnersville Community Center is a Non-Smoking facility.
  • No tables and chairs are allowed to leave the building.
  • Cleaning supplies are provided, including trash can liners and cloth/paper towels.
  • Glass containers are not allowed in the Community Center.
  • Glitter is NOT allowed in the Community Center for any purpose/function.
  • No animals are allowed in the Community Center, except for service animals.

  • Security can be provided by the Coryell County Sheriff’s Department (254-865-7201). Prior arrangements must be made by the Client, if security is required. If the Client’s event does not require security and a situation arises that cannot be handled within, Client must call 911.
