The Turnersville Buffalo Stampede is a beloved, family-friendly community fundraiser held every October in Turnersville, Texas. Since 1993, this signature event has brought neighbors together with a full day of activities, including vendor shopping, kids’ games, a bake sale, and delicious BBQ plates featuring brisket and sausage. Attendees can enjoy live and silent auctions, and the evening wraps up with a lively dance featuring the band Texas Connection. With food trucks, BYOB, and fun for all ages, the Buffalo Stampede celebrates community spirit in the heart of Central Texas.
Community Warming Center
During extreme cold and freezing weather, the Turnersville Community Center serves as a trusted warming center for the community. Open to all residents of Turnersville and surrounding areas, the center provides a safe, heated space to stay warm, access essential resources, and connect with neighbors during harsh winter
